This link is dedicated to the memory of a dear friend and former pastor, Clay Lee Burns, and Pamela Kay Campbell. Without Clay's dedication and love for the members of Christine First Baptist Church our present sanctuary would not have been a reality. We will always cherish his precious memory and always remember his loving wife, Margaret, in our thoughts and prayers. One of Clay's favorite hymns was "My Faith Has Found A Resting Place." Buried in Bartlett, Texas, Clay found his resting place in the Lord Jesus Christ. Pamela was the daughter of former pastor, Harold and Lovetta Campbell, who lovingly served Christine First Baptist Church until 1967. Our "Little Pam" died of leukemia at the age of five and was laid to rest here in Christine. The Campbell's and Margaret Burns still visit Christine First Baptist Church when time permits, residing in Bangs and San Antonio, respectively.
